The Internet offers a wealth of audio information in the form of podcasts and radio transmissions from all over the world. TapinRadio is a free program that allows you to search for and listen to radio stations and podcasts in a very easy manner. You only need to write a keyword on the blank space and click on the Search button. A list of stations that match with the keyword will appear on the lower panel. To listen to any of these stations, just select it and click on the Play button. To stop listening, click on the Stop button. A nice feature is that the sound does not stop abruptly, but fades out slowly.
The program also gives you the option of recording your favorite radio shows by clicking on the corresponding button.
You can also search for and play podcasts. To do so, you only need to click on the corresponding option in the File menu. A new window will appear, where you can type the keywords to perform the search. A drawback I found with this function is that some of the podcasts couldn't be played due to compatibility issues.
In general, this is a good and fast program. If you want to change the language of the interface, you can choose among more than 30 different languages.
A pro, cost-based version with more features is also available at the developer's site.
